Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels, improved circulation, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

 I have many success stories and extremely satisfied patients from all walks of life.   I have been doing massage (most of the time as my main occupation) since 1989 and have experience doing massage in a clinical setting as well as in athletic faciities.

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

I provide a highly supportive atmosphere by listening to the client's words, watching the breath as well as subtle changes in the body. Gentle pressure is used with in relatively small areas at a time and the motion is very slow.

Simply put, this work enables the client to release holding patterns and to be present and aware of oneself in a profound and transformative way.

My training includes over 1,000 hours of training and classwork, 2 years of Somatic Bodywork and a year of internship at the Rosen Institute as well as over 20 years of experience as a professional massage therapist.

Sessions for somatic bodywork should be scheduled with a minimum of 4 days notice and will begin and end on time. 24 hour cancellation is required otherwise client will be charged for the session.
